Isn't it amazing? we're at the end of 2008 now... I've finally made time to start going to the gym, hopefully this is just the beginning of a long process. The only thing I want is to feel 100% again, for my back to stay aite after a long day or a lot of running. I mean besides all that I just feel really stress free when I step in the arc. No worries, no rush for time,... unlike working every other day while taking full time classes in chinese. I get pretty upset when I feel a whole lot of stress, and what I'm doing at work is no small business.
As you might or might not have known, I'm the "webmaster" and publicity assistant for Theatre&Dance. The website is pretty sick and I'm having a great time updating n all that. But like all good things there are also the bad. There's a lot of things they want done in there. A lot of things that requires more than my skill set. By no means am I a programmer or coder, I can read codes, but I can't really write them out of the blue. I'm getting freaked out since the original webmaster built the site with databases and processes that makes it hard for me to control. If theres a problem with the site's control panel, it's beyond my control. Now they want more features which I might not be able to do..... which also means more hours for me.
As a college student, I don't feel like I am spending the most of my time. Sure I work and study and stay on campus, but I also want to do things that involves making friends, going to events, kickin' it you know? I gotta live my life, not in a cubicle from 9-5pm doing someone else's job.
What would you do? Is money more important than happiness? What if money is your only option?
